  • Our Technology

    At Killara Dental, we have invested in modern dental technologies to support accurate diagnosis and efficient treatment. We use a range of state-of-the-art equipment to provide clinical and diagnostic care in a safe and well-planned way.


    Digital X-rays and OPG

    We use digital X-rays, which can reduce radiation exposure compared to conventional systems while supporting accurate diagnosis. Our in-house OPG machine allows for full imaging without the need to visit an external radiology centre.


    CEREC – Same Day Crowns and Implants

    Using intra-oral scanning technology, we are able to design and create crowns, veneers and bridges on the same day. This helps reduce the need for impressions, temporary restorations and multiple visits.


    Intra-oral Cameras and Caries Detection

    Intra-oral cameras allow us to display detailed images of your teeth and oral structures, helping you better understand your treatment. Infrared technology may also assist in detecting decay in some cases.


    Root Canal Technology

    Modern rotary instruments allow for more efficient root canal treatment using flexible files, supporting improved cleaning of the root canal system.


    Lasers

    We use soft tissue lasers for a range of treatments, including gum care, root canal sterilisation, tongue and lip tie release and teeth whitening.

    Our fees reflect the services we provide and the standard of care we aim to maintain. We work to keep our pricing accessible while supporting quality treatment and clear communication.


    We understand that patients value being informed and involved in their care. After your initial appointment, we will discuss your treatment options and provide a clear quote with item numbers for health fund claims where required.

    Treatment

    We provide a range of treatment options and explain the benefits and considerations of each so you can make an informed decision. Where needed, we can help plan treatment over time based on your preferences and circumstances.


    Appointments

    Your appointment time is reserved for you, and we aim to provide care without rushing. We ask that you arrive on time and, for new patients, approximately 10 minutes early to complete required information. If there are any delays, we will do our best to keep you informed.


    Health Insurance

    We accept all health funds. Rebates will vary depending on your level of cover and policy details.


    Payment

    Payment is required on the day of treatment. We accept cash, cheque, HICAPS, EFTPOS and credit card.


    Privacy

    All patient records are kept confidential and will not be shared without written consent. X-ray records remain the property of the practice.


    Referrals

    Referrals from patients are appreciated and are one of the ways people come to our practice.

  • Cancellation Policy

    If an appointment is missed or cancelled within 48 hours without notice, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the length of the appointment. A holding deposit may be required for longer appointments.


    We aim to run on schedule and appreciate patients arriving on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.
